The course\u00a0was graduate-level and open for participants with different\u00a0backgrounds, degrees and professions. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The focus was on bio-based materials, especially\u00a0wood- and plant-based. These materials offer one possible pathway towards a more sustainable material world: they come from renewable\u00a0sources, can be modified on a chemical level, and can be used for recyclable or biodegradable products. \u00a0During the course, students learned about materials and experimental material research, and experienced how interdisciplinary collaboration can be done in practice.
